Jonathan Heim

Career Highlights

Since beginning his career in 2014, Jonathan has played on over a dozen Broadway musicals including WickedKinky BootsCarousel, and Phantom of the Opera. 

 

Most recently, Jonathan is serving a four-year appointment as co-principal trumpet of the NYC Ballet orchestra until the end of 2024-25 season. He has performed with numerous orchestras including as an extra musician with the Metropolitan Opera, Greenwich Symphony Orchestra, Manhattan Sinfonietta, and Harrisburg Orchestra. He frequents landmark venues like Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall and St. John the Divine.

Two especially memorable highlights of this early part of his career include touring with the Grammy award winning Maria Schneider Orchestra, performing at such venues as Disney Hall, the Library of Congress, Kennedy Center, and Blue Note Tokyo, 

AND...

Premiering the stylistically eclectic Levantine Symphony No. 1 with the award winning trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.

Having excelled in so many disciplines, Jonathan is sought after to perform with the top orchestras, shows, and ensembles in New York City.
